Reiki is a non-medical, energetic healing modality of relatively modern, Japanese origin and is remarkable for it’s simplicity and availability to all.  Essentially, the Reiki practitioner acts as a conduit for Divine energy to flow into the patient with the aim of energetic balancing and restoration of its movement in the body, easing discomfort.   Reiki is generally performed by channelling energy through the hands, which can but do not have to be touching the recipient.  Trauma-informed.

Yoga, a revered practice originating in ancient India, is no less relevant with contemporary individuals and communities worldwide.  A sort of one-stop-shop, Yoga encompasses breath-work, meditation, philosophy and spirituality, as well as movement.  Although it is most commonly known for its physical benefits, its other properties ‘round out’ the practice, providing guidance for on and off the map. Yoga is an acceptable practice for all ages, shapes and capabilities.
